Queen Anne's Revenge Tattoos and Body Piercing is a custom shop in Boones Mill, VA that was co-founded by Frieda Masters and John Flint. It has been open for two years and in that short period of time had made a lasting impression on it's surroundings thanks to the original work that walks out the door and competitive prices to boot.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
FRIDEA MASTERS: Frieda, originally a New York native, is a graduate from VCU in Richmond, VA. She has studied art for the majority of her life and now makes good use of her knowledge (and talents). She has been a tattoo artist for six years and opened her own tattoo shop after only four years of tattooing. Frieda specializes in portraiture, particularly color portraiture. Though anything realistic, be it object, animal, or man, is right up her alley.
ANTHONY TEAFORD: Anthony is an up and coming artist from Franklin County VA. Anthony is the youngest member of the shop at 20 years old,but that fact is
over-shadowed by his brilliant color schemes both in his own tattoo work (and on himself). Anthony excelles in neo-traditional style designs enhanced by a rainbow color pallet in which every color is equal and deserves to be used (including and especially PINK). Anthony also does well in the black and gray realistic category. He's also great at free hand drawing tribal and organic designs on skin with no stencil. Tattooing is a natural talent.
ROOSTER DEAN: Rooster was born in Roanoke, VA and has spent all her life in that same area. Originally wanting to go to college fopr acting, what can only be called fate changed her course of action and she fell into a tattoo apprenticeship. Going in with mild art knowledge and stillreally only doodling she started her apprenticeship with a man named Daniel M. and Frieda Masters. Four years later she now reveals in the chance to draw and design custom pieces for her clients. With an eye for detail and faces, Rooster enjoys realistic and portraiture work. She's also great with black and gray and loves the neo-traditional style.
